Fellow citizens,

I would like to acknowledge and share my appreciation for Ms. Lynda Jordan, owner of Lilly Pad Consignment Shop in Homewood.

I called her shop recently to find a baby crib. She offered me one as a donation to my family since she received it without hardware.

I was able to find the screw set needed to reassemble and safely secure its structure. This was an incredible find from a local business.

It’s people like this who keep faith, hope and humanity alive, especially during difficult times.
