The Spanish National Honor Society at Homewood-Flossmoor High School inducted 49 new members during a virtual ceremony in September.
The ceremony was conducted by society officers Rachel Payton, president; Sydney Cartwright, vice president; Marissa Esparza, secretary; Katelyn Nottke, public relations director; and Kyla Emory, junior officer. They were joined by H-F teachers and Spanish NHS sponsors Stefanie Camilli and Elizabeth Wallace.
Together they read the poem “Instantes” by Jorge Luis Borges and recited the oath. Each inductee will be recording their own oath and posting the videos to the Spanish NHS Google Classroom . . .
