Homewood-Flossmoor High School’s girls cross country team knows the thrill of winning. The team members also know the value of friendship and empathy. They shared those attributes through an outward display with their Bolingbrook High School competitors Thursday, Sept. 10, after one of the Bolingbrook runners was seriously injured.
