Charges have been filed in the alleged shooting death of a South Side Rehabilitation Center resident on Saturday, according to Homewood police.
Maurice McMullen, 32, was charged with homicide in connection with the death of William Foster, police said.
Police were called to the facility at 19000 S. Halsted St. shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday to investigate a shooting. Foster was transported by ambulance to an area hospital and later was pronounced dead.
