Flossmoor residents can return to village hall on Monday

Play against each other, play yourself or get the whole family to join Trivia Night.

Sponsored by the Homewood-Flossmoor High School student government, the two virtual trivia contests start at 7 p.m. over Zoom. The first event on Saturday, March 20, covers H-F topics, including history, sports, 2020, music, movies and entertainment. The second event on Saturday, April 17, will follow a Disney theme.

Each team will need to designate someone as captain who will be responsible for submitting the team answers via a Google form. Teams can be six or fewer . . .

Saturday, July 2

  • Roots + Fire Water grand opening, 11 a.m. at 1941 Ridge Road in Homewood.

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
