Local activist: ‘It shakes the world’ to hear young people speak up

If you can help, volunteers for Catholic Charities will be accepting food donations on Saturday, March 13.

The Parish of St. Joseph in Homewood is hosting this spring food drive to support those who use the Catholic Charities emergency food pantry at St. Irenaeus Church in Park Forest.

Volunteers will be accepting donations of non-perishable food between 9 and 11:30 a.m. at the church parking lot, 17941 Dixie Highway. This is a non-contact event. Volunteers will empty donations from your car.

Cash donations are also being accepted.
