Governor’s office staff to work from home for isolation period after staffer tests positive

State health officials announced on Tuesday that Region 10, which includes Homewood and Flossmoor, has moved to Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan. Additional information about which tier and phase regions are in can be found at the top of the IDPH website homepage.

Saturday, July 2

  • Roots + Fire Water grand opening, 11 a.m. at 1941 Ridge Road in Homewood.

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
