Pritzker extends stay-at-home order to May 30 with some adjustments

Gov. J.B. Pritzker announces an extension of the statewide stay-at-home order, with some adjustments, through May 30.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced Thursday that the stay-at-home order that has shut down much of the state’s economy and social activity will be extended to May 30.

The new order, designed to continue the fight against the spread of COVID-19, will include some adjustments that Pritzker characterized as “minor” but represent the beginnings of reopening the state.
