Students at Homewood-Flossmoor High School present “At Home,” a production of H-F Viking Broadcasting Company that gives a look at what students are doing while the COVID-19 pandemic forces us all to stay at home.
Teacher Mark Ciesielski said this production was done as an e-learning project by the 28 students involved in VTV.
“The students continue to do what they do best – create TV shows for the students and the community. Even though they are not at school, the kids worked together to produce the video show for everyone to watch,” he said.
The video is available on YouTube.
Although the students don’t have access to video cameras and the other high-end equipment at H-F, Ciesielski said they used their phones to create the show.
“All of them had a role in this project, as it was part of their school e-learning assignment,” he stressed.
Students who worked on the project are:
Aniyah Askew, Kyla Carter, Chloe Castady, Eliana D’Astici, Lily Donkel, Ethan Eisenberg, Devin Gorton, Benjamin Hamer, Benjamin Hilgen, Jacob Hodges, Kaitlyn Jackson.
Caroline Johnson, Langston Johnson, Aderemi Kasali, Jacquelyn Klupchak, Jonathan Kriarakis, Jalen Mays, Kyndall Ryan, Braedon Short, Ari Sline, Austin Smailes.
Abria Smith, Gianna Smith, Olivia Sowacke, Joseph Sullivan, Benjamin Turnquest, Kelly Van Etten and Laura Zapata.
The teacher said students hope to have other shows produced before the end of the school year.
