Homewood girl makes her mark in baseball

Local residents have long appreciated the beauty and serenity of Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, but in 2020, the prairies, lakes and woodlands might have been even more important as a refuge from the stresses of pandemic life. Our October edition tells the story of how volunteers developed and continue to maintain the preserve.
