Local events and programs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
- St. Joseph’s Athletic Organization has postponed its fish fry until further notice.
- Homewood Public Library has cancelled all programs through the end of March. The library will remain open during normal hours.
- Flossmoor Public Library has cancelled all programs from March 13 through March 31.
- Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra’s program Saturday, March 14, has been canceled. It uses space at Trinity Christian College which now is closed.
- The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) announced on March 12 that it has canceled its remaining winter State Series postseason tournaments, which include boys basketball, scholastic bowl, drama and group Interpretation, music, debate and journalism.
