Homewood police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two residents who were found unresponsive on Monday, Feb. 24.
Around 3:40 p.m., Irene Koetz, 86, and her 56-year-old son, Thomas Koetz, were found dead at their home in the 1200 Block of Elder Road.
At this time, Homewood police have not discovered anything suspicious about the deaths.
The deceased individuals were transported to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, which will determine the cause of death.
