The District 233 school board unanimously approved the 2019 levy at the Dec. 17 board meeting. The district is requesting the Cook County Clerk’s Office to raise $39.8 million in property taxes for Homewood-Flossmoor High School. Members Annette Bannon and Beth Larocca have voted against levies in the past, but they joined with the majority of the board in approving the levy.
