Homewood Chevrolet is calling for entries in its annual Homewood Chevy Cares car giveaway to award a 2019 Chevy Sonic to a deserving person or family.
To enter the contest, write a story in 200 words or fewer about a person you know who deserves a free car. Submit it by Dec. 15 at HomewoodChevyCares.com.
During the week of Dec. 17, employees of Homewood Chevrolet will consider the entries.

A winner will be announced at 10 a.m. Dec. 24 at the auto dealership at 18033 S. Halsted St.
