Lawrence Cook, Homewood-Flossmoor High School business manager, invites the public to learn how the District 233 board sets its property tax levy.
The tax levy is the annual amount the district requests from property taxpayers.
The financial seminar sessions will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, and at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, in Room E-1 of the South Building, 900 Kedzie Ave. in Flossmoor. The sessions are part of the district’s efforts to share with the community how the district operates. It follows the district’s Strategic Plan adopted in 2017.
After the seminars, materials will be available on the district’s website.
