Employers concerned about the dealing with new marijuana laws can attend a half-day workshop in December to learn how to manage employee issues.
Prairie State College Corporate and Continuing Education hosts the workshop to help employers prepare for the impact of legalized marijuana as it pertains to employer drug testing and defining medical marijuana.
The workshop is from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec. 12 at Prairie State College Conference Center, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights.
The fee is $59 and includes breakfast, a speaker and six breakout sessions.
