Flossmoor resident walks the 2,192 miles of the Appalachian Trail

Between 9 a.m. and about noon on Saturday, Homewood-Flossmoor High School graduates received their diplomas and heard the cheers and congratulations they missed when traditional graduation ceremonies were canceled by the pandemic.

Diplomas were handed out by H-F staff as students and parents drove up to a presentation tent, where staff members brought diplomas to each car, while other staffers held signs and provided the cheers.
