Park district adjusts numbers to meet EAV drop

With the pandemic making the traditional Flossmoor children's parade impractical, the Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department came up with an alternative plan, a pair of fire vehicle processions through town so residents could still experience a parade while remaining safe from COVID-19.

One set of vehicles started from Crawford Avenue and Ballantrae Way on the west side of the village. Another procession of fire department vehicles started on the east side of town. The two parades met in the middle, concluding the parade at the Flossmoor Fire Department.
