Homewood police investigated a bomb threat at Jewel-Osco grocery store at 17705 Halsted Ave. on Wednesday, but found no explosive devices.
According to a press release, Jewel-Osco store personnel received a bomb threat at about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday evening and reported it to Homewood Police Department.
In response, Homewood police evacuated Jewel-Osco, along with surrounding stores. Police caution tape was placed around the parking lot.
After a search of the Jewel-Osco building and surrounding area, police did not find any devices.
