 The District 233 school board awarded tenure to three Homewood-Flossmoor High School staff members at its April 7 meeting. Each successfully completed five years on staff.

Broderick Booth

Broderick Booth is an MTSS counselor at H-F working with students who underperform and helping them behaviorally, academically and socially. He’s been working in education for 15 years between districts 215 and 233. 

He has worked in administration and counseling during his career, including two years as a dean at H-F before moving to a student support counselor/MTSS counselor.

Booth has a bachelor’s degree from Milikin University and a master of arts in education from Lewis University, and is completing a doctorate degree at Lewis University.

Lindsay J. Leverson

Lindsay J. Leverson, a counselor at H-F, taught chemistry in Chicago Public Schools for 11 years before transitioning to counseling. 

She has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry education from Florida A&M University, a master’s degree in school counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and a master’s in educational leadership from DePaul University.

Prince Lowe

Prince Lowe is a math teacher. He has been in the education field for 13 years, and taught elsewhere for six years before coming to H-F. 

He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in educational administration from Governors State University.
