Multi Block Garage Sales

School, music and government meetings have migrated online to comply with the state mandated restrictions in the fight against COVID-19, and this week community theater will do the same.

Community theater company 23 Miles South, based at St. Paul Community Church in Homewood, will offer virtual performances on Wednesday, April 15.

Dawn Peloso, founder of 23 Miles South, said the event is the company's effort to give back to the community during a difficult time.

Fall events

Saturday, Sept. 24

  • Homewood Fall Fest and Chili Cook-off, noon to 9 p.m. Chili tasting is open to the public for a donation from 3 to 5 p.m. Three live music performances, plus horse-drawn wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, crafts and other activities.

Saturday, Oct. 15

  • Dia de los Muertos in downtown Homewood. Details to follow.
