The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s annual Lucky Egg Hunt was canceled this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Easter Bunny found a safe way to celebrate with area families, visiting three park district sites on Friday to greet admires who waved from the safety of their vehicles. Cheryl Vargo, manager of the Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center, said 62 cars visited the Easter Bunny at the H-F Racquet Club, and 55 stopped by Apollo Park. The Easter Bunny also appeared at Coyote Run Golf Course.
