Several long-term projects are on the agenda of Monday’s Flossmoor Village Board meeting.
Board members are being asked to approve the next phase of a water supply study that will pave the way for Flossmoor making a significant change in how the village receives its Lake Michigan water. Under the proposed plan, Flossmoor would purchase its lake water from Chicago Heights, to the south, instead of Harvey to the north. The switch would go into effect in 2022.
The board will also continue its discussion of a new municipal budget and future funding . . .
