Social media threat causes lockdown at Parker JH

Administrators at Parker Junior High School in Flossmoor initiated a yellow lockdown early in the morning Wednesday, April 24, after being informed of a threat against the school posted to social media. No incidents of violence have been reported. The lockdown remains in effect and will until the end of the day, according to District 161 spokesperson Amy Kent.
