Homewood-Flossmoor High School seniors Michael Grupp and Madelyn Fitzgerald have been selected Chick Evans Scholars by the Western Golf Association. The Evans Scholarship is valued at an estimated $120,000 over four years. It covers tuition and room and board. Grupp and Fitzgerald were among 20 scholarship winners this year based on four criteria: a strong caddie record, excellent academics, demonstrated financial need and outstanding character.
