H-F turned the ball over towards the end of the second quarter and that’s when the momentum began to shift. Yesufu capped off the quarter with buzzer-beating three to close the gap to eight points.
Bolingbrook slowly began to come back in the third quarter and led H-F 50-45 after a couple sloppy plays by the Vikings.
The Vikings came close to regaining the lead multiple times in the fourth quarter, but Bolingbrook managed to maintain their lead regardless.
“We didn’t execute. Sideline out of bounds, we didn’t execute. Baseline out of bounds, we didn’t handle pressure like we’re supposed to,” Head coach Marc Condotti said. “We have to be able to handle ourselves in those situations a little bit better.”
