The details might be clearer after Tuesday's village board meeting.Trustees will consider amendments to two chapters of the municipal code that would bring local regulations in line with the Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act, which goes into effect Jan. 1.The amendments would specify how much cannabis a person over age 21 can possess and clarify definitions of illegal paraphernalia, among other details.The board will also receive a presentation on the proposed property . . .

  • Homewood Fall Fest and Chili Cook-off, noon to 9 p.m. Chili tasting is open to the public for a donation from 3 to 5 p.m. Three live music performances, plus horse-drawn wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, crafts and other activities.
