Homewood police report that a purse was stolen from a home Saturday evening while the resident was present.
The incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. at a home in the 17500 block of Sycamore Drive. The resident was not injured, police said. No weapon was mentioned or observed. The suspect left the residence on foot in an unknown direction.
