Teen stole commuter’s cell phone at Flossmoor Metra stop: police

Police are seeking information on the theft of a cell phone from a commuter early Wednesday at the Flossmoor Metra station. According to Flossmoor police, the incident took place at approximately 5:55 a.m. on Nov. 28. Police responded to reports of a cell phone theft on the Metra platform. The suspect was identified by witnesses as an African-American male in his mid-teens wearing a red hooded Nike sweatshirt and black sweatpants, according to an online alert from the Flossmoor Police Department. While on the platform, the suspect grabbed the cell phone of a commuter . . .
