Not much snow but winds cause power outages, disrupt train traffic

The Homewood-Flossmoor area did not get a large amount of snow overnight, but rain, snow and gusty winds caused problems nevertheless.

There are reports of power outages in a number of areas around Homewood and Flossmoor, with more than 1,000 customers without power. ComEd's outage map notes that some outages were due to downed trees. 

The neighborhoods north and east of Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood appear to be the most affected by power outages. ComEd . . .
