No matter the weather, you can expect kids of all ages to be out for Halloween trick-or-treating in Homewood and Flossmoor on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
Trick-or-treat hours are 3 to 7 p.m. in both villages.
The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is hosting its Halloween Happenings party from 6 to 8 p.m. at the H-F Sports Complex, 18211 Aberdeen St. in Homewood.
This free party includes an interactive DJ playing Halloween-themed games with the audience. Partygoers can enjoy a variety of games, including Monster Buckets, the Wheel of Witches and Brew Toss. Dracula’s Bounce Castle is sure to be a hit.
A costume parade is set for 7:30 p.m. for those 13 and younger.
Halloween Happenings will be open from 5:30 to 6 p.m. for children with disabilities and their families, including those on the autism spectrum or children with sensory processing disorder.
