Homewood trustees to consider street resurfacing agreement, new liquor license for convenience store

Power was lost to about 660 customers in the Halsted Street area Wednesday afternoon, according John Schoen, a spokesman for ComEd.The outage was caused by a broken utility pole, Schoen said, but he was unsure what caused the damage to the pole.The outage began shortly before 1 p.m. As of 7 p.m., 48 customers remained without power. The problem was expected to be resolve by about 9 p.m.
