Book discussion Wednesday focuses on ‘Less’

“Less,” the novel that won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for fiction, will be the book discussion topic for a meeting hosted by Lighthouse LGBTQ from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Redbird Café, 2057 Ridge Road in Homewood.   The story follows gay writer Arthur Less while he travels the world on a literary tour as his 50th birthday looms. The book has been called “a scintillating satire of the American abroad” and a look at the human heart and a bittersweet recall of romances lost.  . . .
