Three local moms have organized a mother-son dance for Mother’s Day weekend with a superhero theme.
Maggie Gosselin, Meredith Thetford and Crystal Garhammer got the project started. They have an inclusive notion of who counts as a mother, too, and prefer the term “mother figure.”
The event will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, in the Flossmoor Community Church Community House, 847 Hutchison Road in Flossmoor.
Tickets are $25 per couple…
