Cayla Tucker, 10, and Kennedy Turner, 9, are entrepreneurs who have developed a line of bracelets, but they are selling more than a simple product. They are using their craft to promote an ideal.The two founders of T&T Bracelets offered their wares . . .

Summer events

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
