The fifth annual Fine Arts Extravaganza will be a celebration of music, art and physical education on Thursday, May 3, at Western Avenue School, 940 Western Ave. in Flossmoor.
The community is invited to the 6 to 7 p.m. program themed around Egypt and Africa.
Gifted fourth and fifth graders will lead sessions offering instruction on various activities, including painting with watercolors and improvising on instruments using chord progressions.
