WOOSTER, Ohio — The following area students, all alums of Homewood-Flossmoor High School, received a bachelor degree from The College of Wooster during commencement exercises on May 14:
 
  • Grace Hodges, Homewood, bachelor of arts in anthropology. Hodges served as the music director of both “After These Messages” and “Woo Sang Clan” acapella groups and was a member of the Wooster Chorus.
  • Catherine Jaicks, Flossmoor, bachelor of music in music performance cum laude.
  • Patrick Johnson, Homewood, bachelor of arts in biology. Johnson was a four-year member of the varsity football team, earning all-North Coast Athletic Conference honors three seasons at defensive back. He also was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
  • Jeremy Miller, Flossmoor, bachelor of arts in economics.
The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio, focuses on mentored undergraduate research. The college was founded in 1866 and enrolls approximately 2,000 students.
