More than 100 specialty items will available for bidding at the “Wanderlust Fest” from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Homewood-Flossmoor High School South Building cafeteria.

The event is the final fundraiser for the H-F Orchestra’s spring trip to Germany. Community members can take a peek at donations up for auction by visiting http://hfmusictours.weebly.com/

The evening’s program features foods from Germany and student entertainment. Following the German theme, “Wanderlust Fest” will feature a variety of German foods including roast chicken, sausage and sauerkraut casserole, German potato salad, potato cheese soup and other delights.

Proceeds from this event will help fund the Viking Orchestra and Symphonia Orchestra trip to Germany during spring break. The musicians will perform in Potsdam, Brandenburg in the Berlin region and Pegau, a city in the Leipzig district. They will have workshops and exchange opportunities in Leipzig.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Tickets are also available at UpsaDaisy Boutique, 18100 Martin Ave. in Homewood, or online at hfmusictours.weebly.com.

The party is hosted by the Homewood-Flossmoor Fine and Performing Arts Council Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting the fine arts at H-F.
