Anne Shimojima is the featured teller for the June 13 “Tales to Wet Your Whistle.”
The program, for storytellers and story listeners, begins at 7 p.m. at Redbird Café, 2057 Ridge Road in Homewood. Guests are welcome to the free event starting at 6:45 p.m.
“Tales to Wet Your Whistle” is held the second Wednesday of each month. In addition to a guest presenter, the program includes an open mic option for anyone wishing to tell a story.
