The Homewood Public Works Department will have a new tool to help monitor village assets and manage work flow if the board of trustees approves a $28,500 contract with Dude Solutions of Cary, North Carolina, for a cloud-based system.According to John Schaefer, director of public works, the new system is expected to be easier to use and more flexible than the current system.
