Homewood-Flossmoor High School senior Jonathan Luong has been nominated to the United States Air Force Academy by U.S Rep. Robin Kelly (D-Ill.).
The son of Truong Nguyen and Kristi Tran of Homewood, Jonathan said his father, an Air Force veteran, encouraged him to consider the academy for college. He plans to major in computer engineering.
