Flossmoor police are looking for further information on a suspect who may be involved in a string of vehicle burglaries in the village.

A photograph of the suspect was taken by a surveillance camera on Aug. 30. The police department, in an email alert, posted the picture on Thursday.

Police said that on the night of the burglaries, an unidentified subject entered four cars in the 800 block of Braemar Road, the 2800 block of Wallace Drive and the 900 block of Park Drive. There were no signs of forced entry into any vehicle, and all the vehicles appeared to have been left unlocked.

The photo was taken by a surveillance camera belonging to one of the Wednesday night victims. Police said the person in the photo “appears to be the same subject captured on video in the previous cases involving cars in the Heather Hill subdivision.”

Anyone with information is asked to call asked to call the Flossmoor Police Department at 708-957-4500.  Residents should call 911 immediately to report suspicious activity or individuals, the email alert says.

Police said residents are reminded to take precautionary measures to remain safe and alert to potential opportunities for crime to occur.
