Homewood’s Giant Block Party to offer sweet swan song to summer

Bruce Keene is no longer running, but he is still making a difference in the world. The Homewood-Flossmoor High School track legend died on Oct. 28 after living 11 years with brain cancer.

  • Pride Party at the Flossmoor Community Church Community House, 847 Hutchison Road in Flossmoor. The family-friendly event will have food, music and other entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m.
