Homewood Culver’s gets books for kids from Cook County Farm Bureau

The Cook County Farm Bureau is sharing a message about agriculture with young readers through a “book barn” program at Culver’s Restaurant, 850 W. 183rd St. in Homewood. The book barn is filled with books that bring agricultural learning to a child’s perspective, while teaching kids where the food they are enjoying comes from. It is part of a Culver’s national initiative. The books can be borrowed and read during mealtime at the restaurant. “We even have coloring books which will keep the little ones busy, while giving parents a chance to provide a bit . . .
