Three Car Bay Garage Sale

The Chatham Choral Ensemble will present a concert at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 18850 Riegel Road in Homewood, on Saturday, Dec. 16, as part of a dinner and concert program. The ensemble of 25 professional singers will perform their program “Christmas Through the Ages.” The ensemble, under the direction of Charles Hayes, specializes in a wide range of polyphonic choral literature. The group is celebrating its 25th anniversary with performances throughout the Chicago area. Tickets are $25 for the dinner and concert or $15 for the concert. At 5:45 p.m., guests will enjoy light . . .

  • Roots + Fire Water grand opening, 11 a.m. at 1941 Ridge Road in Homewood.

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
