Rep. Kelly continues push for gun safety as Democrats mark sit-in anniversary

Rep. Robin Kelly, D-Ill., released this statement marking the one year anniversary of the House Gun Violence Prevention Sit-In that she organized with Reps. John Lewis (Ga.), Katherine Clark (Mass.), David Cicilline (R.I.) and John Larson (Conn.).   • Homewood 4th of July parade. Starts at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, then follows Ridge Road to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
  • Flossmoor 4th of July parade. Starts at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High and ends downtown, where there will be fun activities.
