Advocate South Suburban Hospital to host a Farmer’s Market on June 14

Advocate South Suburban Hospital is hosting two summer farmer’s markets this year. The first will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, in the hospital’s main parking lot at 17800 S. Kedzie Ave. in Hazel Crest. Advocate is partnering with Cristina Foods, a wholesale food service distributor, to supply fresh produce and other items for the event. Shoppers will have access to a variety of fresh foods like greens, tomatoes, corn, potatoes, jalapeno peppers, grapes, melons and honey. There will also be a limited selection of plants available for purchase . . .
