“Stomping Grounds,” a night of dance that moves through international cultures, will be presented at 8 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University. The program brings together more than 50 dancers for a full-throttled production of global percussive dance that will transport the audience with sights and sounds found around the world, from the vast Serengeti of Africa and the mountain ranges of Andalucía to the highlands of Ireland and contemporary urban settings.
