The Cook County Assessor’s Office will host two assessment appeal seminars for Bloom Township residents on Tuesday, Sept. 26, and Wednesday, Oct.4. Bloom Township was one of 17 south and southwest areas where property was reassessed this year. Residents can have their questions about the reassessment process answered from 6 to 8 p.m. on both Sept. 26 and Oct. 4 at the Bloom Township Center, 425 Halsted St. in Chicago Heights.
