Help wanted

Flossmoor Baseball and Softball (FBBSB) is introducing a baseball hitting league this fall. The program, which is being offered for the first time, will take place from Nov. 4 to Dec. 14 in the Homewood-Flossmoor High School Field House. The weekly program will focus on situational hitting. Each two-hour session format will include 40 minutes of hitting and instruction, 40 minutes of competition and 40 minutes of performance training. Registration for the hitting league and the 2018 season begins Oct. 15. FBBSB offers programs for players as young as 4 and as old as high school . . .

  • Pop Culture fourth anniversary celebration, noon until 7 p.m., 18035 Dixie Highway, Homewood.
